Are you feeding your disease without knowing it?

You sit there in the cold exam room, hands clenched. Waiting. The doctor walks in. Then come the words you were afraid of.

"Looks like we're going to have to bump up your meds.”

Oh no. Not again.

You've tried it all - and given it your best. But somehow, the numbers JUST. AREN'T. BUDGING. In fact, they’re getting worse.

You're afraid something bad will happen. Maybe it's the silent killer. Maybe it’s the dreaded C-word.

You don't know where to go. You don't know whom to believe.

You don't know where to start.

You deserve more from your doctor.

9 years ago, I was on the verge of quitting med school.

That's when I discovered a whole food plant based diet.

Suddenly, there was a reason to stay. I learned that I could actually take patients off their meds rather than moving them along on the slow but certain conveyor belt to worsening disease, disability, and early death. I read and learned everything I could and eventually became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.

For the past 7 years, I have been turning this insight into action, in myself and my patients. And the results have been nothing short of astounding.

Imagine this…

You’re there in the exam room again. This time, as the doctor walks in, with your lab results in hand, you hear:

"Great news! We can stop your medication today!”

Imagine the weight lifting off your shoulders. No more painful injections. No more reminders to take your meds. Your pants are looser. Your energy is up. You can keep up with your kids again.

Introducing…

Lotus Lifestyle Medicine

Personalized telemedicine care to take you from sick and overwhelmed to ditching your diagnosis, and your meds, for good.

You’ll gain…

  • A doctor who listens, cares, empathizes

  • Care from the comfort of your home

  • Longer visits, so that you (and I) don’t feel rushed

  • A comprehensive, holistic view of your health

  • Understanding of the 6 pillars of health and how to master them

  • Knowledge of the foods that fuel health and the ones that feed your disease

  • Actionable recommendations, made just for you

  • A personalized, step by step roadmap to living at your healthiest

  • A safe way to discontinue your meds (even insulin), when the time is right

Here’s what others have to say about working with me…

“I was immensely pleased with my new patient telehealth visit with Dr. Cherian. Within a few minutes, she was able to put me at ease being that it was my first telehealth experience. She encouraged me to ask as many questions; never feeling rushed or that I was just being “processed”. She, in turn, asked just as many questions which assured me that she would be well informed where my medical history is concerned to formulate a personalized wellness course rather than just an encounter. She is knowledgeable in areas I was hoping she had so everything clicked for me. I can’t ever recall leaving a doctor’s office excited.”

“Dr. Christina is kind, patient and a good listener. She has been very positive and taught me how to manage my diabetes. I have changed my lifestyle since the first appointment and feel healthier than ever.”

“Always absolutely incredible, patient and understanding. She makes it easy and kind of fun to take care of going to the doctor which is really saying something.”

What would it be worth to you…

  • No, I only see adults aged 21 and up.

  • Absolutely. Diet and lifestyle medicine play a huge role in mental health. I can help you optimize lifestyle factors for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD. However, many of these conditions are difficult to treat through diet or lifestyle alone, so medications may still be necessary for adequate control of symptoms.

  • I value my time, just as I value yours. I have a strict no refund policy for appointments and packages. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please do so within 48 hours. I will allow one missed appointment due to emergency every 6 months, which you may reschedule for a later time. Any missed time due to late arrival to an appointment will not be accommodated.

  • We will work together to get a complete view of your health history. This will include obtaining comprehensive blood work, including assessing common cardiac risk factors and evaluating for common deficiencies. We will then craft a step by step plan to get you to your health goals. Each visit, we will continue on this roadmap until your goals have been met.

  • No, this is an exclusively telemedicine practice.

  • Absolutely not. In fact, you don’t have to go vegan at all while working with me.

  • I do not accept insurance at this time. Insurance does not allow me to practice medicine the way I feel medicine should be practiced.

  • No, the cost of lab work is not covered. I can send lab orders to any lab facility. If you have insurance, all or part of it may be covered. If you do not have insurance, there are lower-cost lab facilities where you can pay for your labs out of pocket.

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to see patients who are Medicare beneficiaries at this time. This may change in the future.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot. While I am board certified in Family Medicine, Lotus Lifestyle Medicine is dedicated solely to lifestyle medicine care. I can help you manage your chronic diseases, prescribe medications as needed, order necessary lab work, but I will not address concerns or issues outside of the scope of lifestyle medicine.
