What is Coaching?
Coaching creates a supportive, healing space where mind, body, and spirit are honored. Through meaningful conversations, it nurtures self-awareness and empowers you to make aligned, lasting changes—whatever wellness looks like for you. Your journey is guided by your inner wisdom, vision, and health goals.
How can coaching help you reach your health goals?
Health coaching is a compassionate partnership that empowers you to align your daily choices with your vision of well-being. It’s a supportive, judgment-free space where your goals, challenges, and values are honored. Together, you and your coach explore what truly matters to you—whether it's managing a health condition, increasing energy, reducing stress, nourishing your body, or creating sustainable habits that feel good in your life.
Through gentle guidance, encouragement, and personalized tools, coaching helps you tap into your inner wisdom, move at your own pace, and stay connected to what inspires you. Along the way, you’ll celebrate not just outcomes, but the deeper shifts in awareness, confidence, and self-trust that fuel lasting, holistic change.
What sets Dr. Cherian apart?
I bring a unique blend of medical expertise, deep compassion, and holistic wisdom to the coaching relationship. As a board-certified family physician and lifestyle medicine specialist, I’m grounded in evidence-based practices that support the prevention, treatment, and even reversal of chronic conditions like hypertension, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes.
But my approach goes far beyond prescriptions and protocols.
Over the years, I’ve come to understand that what many people truly need isn’t just another treatment plan—they need a guide. Someone who listens deeply, holds space with empathy, and believes in their capacity to heal. Someone who can help them focus on one meaningful change at a time, and support them with gentle accountability and care.
My coaching is rooted in a mindful, heart-centered approach that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I’ve completed yoga teacher training, studied integrative and trauma-informed medicine, and hold a deep respect for both ancient wisdom and modern science. I’m also a dedicated meditation practitioner, having completed multiple Vipassana courses, and I strive to bring the richness of those practices into both my life and my work.
I do my best to live a mindful, intentional, and compassionate life. I believe in practicing what I teach and showing up authentically—because I’m on my own journey of growth and healing, just like you.
At the heart of my work is one intention: to reduce suffering and help others live fuller, freer, more vibrant lives.
