10 years ago, I was on the verge of quitting med schoolβ€”burnt out, anxious, and disconnected from the work I once felt called to do. 

That's when I discovered a whole food plant based diet.

Suddenly, there was a reason to stay. I learned that I could actually take patients off their medications rather than moving them along on the slow but certain conveyor belt to worsening disease, disability, and early death. I read and learned everything I could and eventually became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. 

For the past 8 years, I have been turning this insight into action, in myself and my patients. And the results have been nothing short of astounding.
